PTSD is having a direct impact on military and civilian populations at an alarming rate. The comorbidity rate between violent crime and untreated PTSD is leading to higher rates of incarceration. This seminar will help you navigate problematic client behaviors within forensic and military populations and advance your knowledge of effective evidence-based practices to treat adult clients with PTSD and their families. This seminar includes a firsthand look at how Post Trauma Growth and client based resiliency is having a dramatic impact on changing recidivism rates to provident living within local communities. Education will be provided from subject matter experts with over 15 years of experience treating PTSD among criminal and military populations and is geared to forensic mental health clinicians and attorneys.
