PTSD is having a direct impact on military and civilian populations at an alarming rate. The comorbidity rate between violent crime and untreated PTSD is leading to higher rates of incarceration. This seminar will help you navigate problematic client behaviors within forensic and military populations and advance your knowledge of effective evidence-based practices to treat adult clients with PTSD and their families. This seminar includes a firsthand look at how Post Trauma Growth and client based resiliency is having a dramatic impact on changing recidivism rates to provident living within local communities. Education will be provided from subject matter experts with over 15 years of experience treating PTSD among criminal and military populations and is geared to forensic mental health clinicians and attorneys.
About the Speakers
Mr. Ryan Sanft is CEO and Founder of Impression Healthcare Services, Inc. a community based forensic mental health facility. Through this organization, he has been called upon in key cases involving PTSD expertise. Mr. Sanft also works at the Loma Linda VA Medical Center and is a local consultant for evidence-based best practices for PTSD.
Dr. Nancy Farrell has worked for the Loma Linda VA for 6 years and her passions are working with veterans with their partners and families as well as community outreach to connect communities with veterans and VA services. Her work includes providing services for veterans and their families for PTSD, eating disorders and a variety of other mental health conditions.

6 units for professional licenses: BBS, BRN, MCEP, and MCLE.
CEU Statements: FMHAC is approved by the California Psychological Association to provide continuing professional education for psychologists. FMHAC maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Provider #FOR005
