The Forensic Mental Health Association of California (FMHAC) has provided support and high quality education to forensic mental health practitioners, judges, attorneys, and law enforcement officers for over 40 years.
MISSION
To advance the provision of mental health services to persons involved in the criminal justice system and to provide educational opportunities to the professionals involved in the delivery of these services.
VISION
To see every person in the criminal justice system receive high quality mental health care.
Toward this end, FMHAC’s annual conference and regional trainings provide intensive training in current forensic mental health issues.
FMHAC is a member-based association and encourages professionals who work with justice involved individuals with mental illness to work actively to make improvements in the field.
