Forensic Mental Health Association of California (FOR005) is approved by the California Psychological Association to provide continuing professional education for psychologists. The California Board of Behavioral Sciences accepts continuing education credit granted by the California Psychological Association or by any of its Approved Providers. Forensic Mental Health Association of California maintains responsibility for this program and its content. State Bar of California MCLE Provider #15388.

California Psychological Association (CPA)/Board of Behavioral Science Examiners (BBS)

FMHAC is an approved provider through the CPA (FOR005). The BBS accepts credits approved by the CPA.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The FMHAC Conference DOES NOT qualify for CME.

California State Bar (MCLE)

MCLE units are approved for selected sessions, Provider #15388.

Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST)

The 2026 POST application is pending.

Center for Judicial Education and Research (CJER)

FMHAC is an approved provider through the Center for Judicial Education and Research.

Board of Corrections (STC)

For Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) participants who need STC training credit for this event, please either arrange a work related special request before the event or apply for Special Certification after the event. Both of these go through your STC training manager/coordinator.

The process for a Special Certification:
Inform your training manager that you will be attending this conference and you will be asking for a Special Certification. Upon returning from the conference, inform your training manager how many hours you attended and ask them to submit a Special Certification for those hours.
