Words to Deeds and FMHAC is partnering with the Mental Health Services Oversight & Accountability Commission (MHSOAC) Innovation Incubator to implement the Criminal Justice Innovation Incubator Lesson Dissemination Project, the goal of which is to:
• Disseminate to state and county leaders the lessons and key issues identified by the Commission’s multi-county collaboratives seeking to reduce criminal justice involvement for individuals with mental health needs.
• Provide detailed information resources to counties interested in pursuing improvements based on the Webinars presenters.
• Evaluate the options for an enduring statewide collaborative involving county and state agencies to reduce public costs and improve outcomes for individuals with mental health needs who are at risk of criminal justice involvement.
